I’m Xavier Luciano, the dance filmmaker behind STUDIO MISBEHAVE. For fifteen years I’ve run my own freelance visual creation business built around one subject: dance.

I’m media director and lead videographer for Oxygen The Convention, and I work on the media team at Monsters of Hip-Hop — the largest hip-hop dance convention in the world — where I capture the competition numbers.

I’m a freestyle street dancer myself. I understand movement from the inside — the intention, the feeling, and the moments that can’t be choreographed. That instinct shapes where I put the camera and when I let a moment breathe.

My craft has grown through years of trial and error: filming, experimenting, and finding what feels true. I create deeper narratives and stories through dance and film, letting movement carry more than the steps.
